That’s right. Jackie, Amber, Dawn, Sharon and Chaffin are back and are decking the halls with a “stanky swap” in “The Real Housewives of South Boston Christmas Edition”. These girls have gone viral. So you better watch out “Real Housewives” because the Southie wives have come to town. And we know they’ve been naughty.

That’s why Hollywood East Connection dot com needed to get nice this season with Paulilu, the production company behind the wicked You Tube prance. Paulilu was born in New York in 2007, by two comics Paul Downs and Lucia Aniello aka Sharon who met at the Upright Citizens Brigade, a theater co-founded by Boston native Amy Poehler. And four years later the LA based duo who, “learned how to edit from googling it” has surprised us with yet another comedy but gave us a bonus this year, “The Real Housewives of South Boston Christmas Edition”.

We found out that all the wives have married in to their Southie roots but all are Boston natives except Aniello who grew up in Hadley, MA.  “I have a lot of family in Boston and the surrounding hoods, so I’ve spent a lot of time there. My mother was born and raised in Waltham, so I borrow her accent and then just throw on a red sox jersey”. You bring us a lot of joy Sharon.

Spoiler alert: Next Christmas “Amber will pop out another kid after having gotten pregnant at the 2012 Patriot’s championship parade’. Now that’s something to be thankful for this Christmas. Another Super Bowl win? Yes please!

“I don’t know what the next steps are,” Aniello tells us. “All I know is we’d love to continue to play these characters!” And so do we. Why wouldn’t this series get picked up? It’s awesome.
