Portland, Maine born Anna Kendrick is having a busy year this year. The actress most recognizable as “Jessica” from the Twilight movies, has approximately 7 movies slated for release this year, including the next and final installment in the Stephanie Meyer inspired series, Breaking Dawn Part 2. The much anticipated conclusion will come out later this year.

First to be released this year is the star-studded What to Expect When You’re Expecting. The movie, which costars Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks, Dennis Quaid, Brooklyn Decker, and Megan Mullally, was inspired by the much heralded pregnancy guide book of the same name, written by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel. The book was first published in 1984, and has sold over 15 million copies to date. It is currently in it’s 4^th edition.

Later this fall, Kendrick will appear in End of Watch, with Jake Gyllenhaal, Pitch Perfect, with Brittany Snow, The Company You Keep, with Robert Redford and Shia LeBeouf, and Rapturepalooza, with Ken Jeong. Her voice will also be featured in the animated feature, ParaNorman, about a young boy who can speak with ghosts.

Currently in pre-production, and slated for release sometime next year, Kendrick will also appear in the comedy, Get a Job, a topical romp about recent college graduates attempting to enter the working world. The film will costar Bryan Cranston and Alison Brie.
