Bring on the ‘heat’ this summer with “Dallas”. And since the Ewing’s are fueling JetBlue. TNT decided to go big with the premiere of a hot ‘blue’ summer. So let’s strip down with this sexy cast and crew.
Boston’s number 1 airline, Jet Blue is spreading its wings with a new route to Dallas/Fort Worth. And it just so happens, “Dallas” and JetBlue collided. TNT and JetBlue Airways, two highly rated channels are buckled in for the launch.
Who shot J. R? TNT did. Returning to the hit series are J.R, Bobby and Sue Ellen! That’s right. Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray will all be weaving some new webs. While the younger generation, will tangle even more. In addition TNT’s “Dallas” hot cast will feature the handsome Jesse Metcalfe, who played basketball as a teen right here in New England and graduated from The Williams School in New London, CT. We are ‘desperate’ for more Metcalfe in our homes.
“Dallas has a reputation for being larger than life, from the characters and the scheming to the power struggles and the backstabs,” said Tricia Melton, Senior Vice President of Entertainment Marketing for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “Nothing is done on a small scale with the Ewing clan, so when we thought about how the Ewings would welcome JetBlue to Dallas, we knew the message had to be big and bold. This five-acre environmental installation embodies not only the Ewing spirit but also the dramatic impact of the TNT brand and the quirky, fun personality of the JetBlue brand.”
As we know the Ewing’s never do anything small, so when environmental artist Stan Herd wanted to build a five-acre Earthworks creation to help achieve the blue hue Dallas premiere. Ewing’s signed the check. Herd’s Dallas/JetBlue art installation incorporates 20 tons of mulch, 10 tons of sand, 6 tons of rock, limestone, prairie hay and crushed pecan shells. All passengers will take in and off to a spinning art spectacular.
The action doesn’t stop there either. JetBlue customers will also be able to enjoy compliment “Dallas” content during their flight. “Dallas” will premiere on Wednesday, June 13th, and to take off the May 1st departure of three daily flights between Boston and Dallas/Fort Worth. Jet Blue has been offering fares as low as $140.
“They’re back, and no, you’re not dreaming.” Will you fly away to “Dallas” for the sizzling summer premiere?
