On Thursday, November 18, Portsmouth, New Hampshire-based Publica group unveiled the latest in the Granite State’s attempt to give the Greater Boston area a run for the title of Hollywood East. Boomerang Studios, a high-end film and photography studio, features state of the art equipment, facilities, and other resources necessary for filmmakers to produce high-quality content.
Featuring a green screen studio with a 625-square-foot, 180-degree cyclorama and a full grid of high-tech LED flat-panel lights, clients will be able to book the space based on full or half-day shooting slots. For video shoots, equipment will be available for rent as well, including Sony and Red One cameras and lenses. However, for crews bringing in their own equipment, the studio is easily accessible for unloading cameras, lighting, props, and other things necessary for their shoots. The studio also has its own free parking lot, a changing room, a private outdoor patio, and is located near numerous restaurants and coffee shops.
