A local independent film recently kicked off filming in Connecticut after searching the state for local talent. Sensory Perception, a sci-fi flick by director Alessandro Signore, began principle shooting on location in Middletown, CT on October 23, and will run through November 13. The film is described as:

“The inhabitants of Brass City wake up, sad and devastated, each and every morning. No one is sure why, and people won’t talk about it. Jeremy is fresh out of rehab, trying to put his life back together, but his thoughts are becoming distorted. He can’t help but “see” more than he wants to, and a shadowy figure seems to be having the same problem. Cleaning up has never been so difficult, but it’s never been so important, either.”

The Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism Film Division website has been listing casting calls and job opportunities on the film for crew members, including lighting, wardrobe, and production design, allowing members of the Connecticut film community to gain important resume and portfolio experience through gaining valuable film credits.
