For all you independent film buffs based in or around Maine, or those of you who just want to take a short drive to historic Portland, the University of Maine Intermedia MFA and the University of Maine are combining forces to present Without Borders IV: Conjunction Video Fest.
Without Borders, a collection of 19 films that have been selected from over 120 submissions from 11 countries, showcases a varied compilation of short films that reference the different conceptual meanings and symbolisms of “conjunction,” or ways in which we come together. The video fest is an annual presentation of the Intermedia MFA Program at the University of Maine, a graduate program for students who are interested in interdisciplinary study in the arts. This year, Without Borders will be hosted in the Space Gallery in Portland on November 18th from 7:30-9:30 pm. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the event is all ages and free to the public.
