Gleeks in New England rejoice! ”Glee” star, Matthew Morrison is set to perform next month at Boston’s Wang Theatre at the Citi Performing Arts Center. The Broadway alum is kicking off a tour this summer, singing tunes from his debut solo album and possibly some top “Glee” hits.
Tickets are available for the June 29 show and special VIP packages are also on sale. Some packages include meet and greet tickets with Morrison and access to the pre-show soundcheck.
Morrison broke into show business during his freshman year at New York University, performing regularly on Broadway. He was nominated for a Tony Awards for his role in The Light In The Piazza before landing the role of charismatic, chorus leader Will Schuester on “Glee.” His self-titled, debut album dropped May 10.
