The fall wedding season is just kicking into high gear, and the Wachusett Village Inn’s North Central Bridal Exposition on Sunday, September 13 has taken advantage. Blushing brides from around the area will be flocking to Westminster to talk to wedding planners, florists, caterers, and… local TV stars? It seems that stars of the reality show “Iron Brides” will be at the expo to help lend their advice and newly gained insight into the process of planning the perfect wedding.

The Worcester Telegram reports that this season’s contestants will be on hand throughout the day, between 11 AM and 3 PM, to serve as hostesses for the event and answer questions for those in attendance.

The second season of the New England-based reality series has eight contestants competing for a $9,000 wedding package that includes video and photography, and tests each bride’s physical prowess through a sort of boot-camp that lasts through 13 episodes, to be aired this December on local cable channel 18.

The last competition of this season will be taped after the expo on Sunday. During the event that morning, attendees will not only be able to talk directly to the contestants, but also be able to ask questions on camera, which will be taped and possibly selected to be included for airing in the final episode this season.
