Spotted at McGreevy’s bar on Boylston Street, in Boston, “Desperate Housewives” hunk James Denton, helping Boston Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett unveil his new thirty dollar hamburger. No, the baseball-er isn’t making a ridiculously uninformed business venture, but rather making a play for charity by introducing a nearly 2 pound burger to the masses willing to take on a challenge for a good cause. The Big Mouth Beckett Burger, which weighs nearly 2 pounds and is topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles & cheddar cheese and costs $30, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Josh Beckett Foundation to benefit seriously ill and disabled children. The festivities also featured Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphy’s (and owner of the bar) and NESN’s Heidi Watney.
