In case you haven’t seen enough of 31-year-old Katherine Heigl on the big screen in recent months, the former “Grey’s Anatomy” star will be starting work on another movie, Age of Adaline, in 2011. The film, according to boston.com, will be shot in Massachusetts beginning in March and will be released sometime in 2012.
Age of Adaline, a romance-drama, will feature Heigl as a woman who, following an accident, can live forever and doesn’t look a day over 30. After living in solitude for many years, she meets a man and contemplates losing her immortality for the sake of love. The role of Heigl’s co-star is still up in the air.
Written by Mills Goodloe and Sal Paskowitz, Age of Adaline will be directed by Andy Tennant. Lakeshore Entertainment in collaboration with Anonymous Content will produce the film, and Heigl will serve as a co-executive producer, along with her mother, Nancy, and Jim Tauber. Other cast members have not been announced, but stay tuned to see if any opportunities are available for extras in the film!
