Last week, the 61st Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year actress Julianne Moore was in Harvard Yard for the annual shindig. Moore, who was rumored to be staying at the posh Charles Hotel, was unfortunately robbed of her parade down Mass Ave due to blankets of snow piles that keeps on piling. But as they say, ” the show must go on” and it certainly did. The BU grad posed for a few pictures outside of the New College Theater before Moore was roasted by the Pudding cast.
According to the Boston Herald Track Girls, Moore had a high old time at the Pudding party. The smok’en red head who was wearing sky-high black platform booties, danced with glamorous guys in drag and even joked she would fill her trinket with “weed”.
The high actress was mocked by the Pudding cast for her not so rocking Boston accent on “30 Rock”, which she claimed was a “DOR-chesta accent” and she “worked HAH-D”. Moore also was upfront about being snubbed from the Academy Award for her role as a lesbian mom in The Kids Are All Right. She admits not being over it but she will be!
The Hasty Pudding Theatrical’s Man of the Year event will take place on Feb. 4. and Mass native Mr. Jay Leno will be in house for some roasting. Check out the press conference of Moore shot by The Harvard Crimson where she talks her time living in Boston, acting, and of course, the great fun she had with the Hasty Pudding crew:
