The successful July screening of a locally produced film, Some Holiday, at Red River Theaters in Concord, NH has led its creators to schedule an additional screening for November. CinemaSalem in Salem, MA will present the film for one night only on Thursday November 4th, 2010 at 8:30 p.m.
From New Hampshire Writer/Director Justin Scarelli, along with six local actors, Eric Barron, Lisa McGurn and Steve Levin, all recent graduates of the University of New Hampshire in Durham, the movie began production in June of 2009 and finished in September the same year. It follows the lives of three couples as they pursue their dreams and are confronted with responsibilities – most notably regarding their connection to a child. The production crew hopes that their masterpiece will generate discussion not only about the film, but also the active and vibrant arts community in the area.
Tickets can be purchased ahead of time from CinemaSalem, or for $10 at the door. Proceeds from the screening will benefit nAGLY, an organization that advocates for the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender youth community. Director Scarelli will be present after the screening for questions.
