The Town sets up camp at Fenway
Sunday evening, September 20th, SWAT team members and FBI agents were spotted swarming Yawkey Way, in the shadow of Fenway Park. Brandishing guns and combat armor, the flurry of activity and commotion went on for a short amount of time before reaching a conclusion–dinner time for all background for this particular scene of The Town, the latest Ben Affleck film, currently shooting around Fenway Park.

From now until September 27th, this second directorial project for the Academy Award winner has been making full use of the Massachusetts tax credit, and the Boston area resources, and has also filmed in Charlestown and Cambridge.

Filming on Yawkey Way
Sunday’s scene featured dozens of extras as FBI agents, SWAT team members, and uniformed police officers. While Ben Affleck, who also stars in the film, was not spotted on the set, a crew-member dished on what Jennifer Garner’s better half is like, regularly working 18-hour days and keeping to a strict diet, having most of his meals specially prepared, including lots of bananas and hard-boiled eggs. The star, who has been spending most of his summer filming in the area, has reportedly taken up residency in Cambridge, along with his Hollywood wife, Garner, and their two daughters, Violet and Seraphina.
