Cinco de Mayo Two Reality Stars Will Tie the Knot

Cinco de Mayo Two Reality Stars Will Tie the Knot

Posted on 01 May 2012 at 5:59am

One tequila. The muy caliente Chris Lambton will marry the guapa Peyton Wright this Saturday! “Wedding is in fact May 5th,” Lambton tells HEC. “We are going to have a busy next few weeks but very exciting.” So let’s kick off Cinco De Mayo with a blessing for these two reality stars.

“I honestly thought Chris and I would have no problem agreeing on a wedding location,” Peyton writes. “Boy was I wrong! We went back and forth and discussed every possible idea. After much discussion, we narrowed it down to the beach.”

Two tequila. Not a New England beach either. The fiesta will be on the Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, South Carolina. However, Peyton will be wearing something old and something new from Priscilla of BOSTON!

“I made my last appointment to try on the very first gown from Priscilla of Boston again,” Peyton writes. “That one stayed on my mind from day one and after trying it on for the second time I knew immediately it was the one for me. SOLD!!”

Three tequila. We spiced it up with Lambton on the cushions of our couches on Season 6 of “The Bachelorette” and immediately fell for his New England roots. Lambton was crushed by Ali Fedotowsky’s decision but was brightened with a beautiful rainbow on the Island of Bora Bora. Unfortunately for fans, Lambton turned down the heat of  “The Bachelor” and instead warmed up with bachelorette finalist, Peyton Wright, off air. That’s hot!

Floor. First comes Bachelor fame, then the two pop stars engaged and now the two will be married while sharing ratings on “Going Yard” this May. “It was a no brainer to say yes to HGTV,” Lambton tells us.  So give this Cape Cod stud an inch and he’ll take over your yard. That’s right ladies. He’ll still come landscape your yard. “We are wrapping up Season 1 of our new show “Going Yard” on HGTV,” Lambton tells us. “Wedding, May 5th and the show premieres May 12th!!!!”

What a wedding to air before an HGTV premiere? Now that would be going yard! Can’t wait to see pictures of the happy couple. Connect with Chris Lambton’s FB Page and check out Peyton Wright’s Blog. Her wedding dress article was just so sweet. HEC wishes the soon-to-be Lambton’s the best!

Former Hell’s Kitchen Contestant Opens New Boston Restaurant

Posted on 13 Jul 2011 at 1:00am

He might not have won the title, but that doesn’t mean Jason Santos is burying his head in the sand.

The former “Hell’s Kitchen” season 7 contestant, who was one step away from winning it all on the Fox reality show, has instead left his post at Cambridge’s Gargoyles on the Square to venture out on his own. Blue Inc., which opened on the evening of Monday, July 11, in the Financial District overlooking the Greenway, takes over the former Lobby Bar and Kitchen space, and is now serving a variety of creative culinary treats and delicious libations. Dine on delectable bites like lobster and summer truffle soup, calamari spaghetti with squid puffs, and fried chicken with habanero barbecue syrup, or sip sumptuous cocktails like the Fat Boyz Margarita, Chilled Chocolate Afro Puff, or the The Anorexic Model.

Santos was not alone in getting his project off the ground. Turning to his other TV connections, the chef called upon Taniya Nayak, host and designer of HGTV’s “Designed to Sell” and “Destination Design”. Nayak, a Milton, MA resident, can be found on other HGTV shows like “Showdown”, “Bang for Your Buck”, and on the Food Network’s “Restaurant Impossible”, where she helps chef Robert Irvine to renovate a failing restaurant in under 24 hours. The woman certainly knows her stuff, as the space was still in shambles only one week before opening.

HGTV Comes to Beverly, MA

Posted on 04 Aug 2010 at 1:00am

HGTV’s “My First Place” is coming to Beverly, Mass., to follow some first-time house hunters. Execs at HGTV chose Boston and its surrounding towns for their diverse homebuyer potential and real estate variety. It will be the first time any Boston-area cities will be featured on the show. No other shows in any New England towns are currently in the works, however they may focus on New Hampshire in the future.

“My First Place” looks for expressive first-time buys who are excited to share their experience with viewers. The show highlights the trials and tribulations many people buying their first home experience. From home inspections to the final closing, this new show captures everything in between.

“We love expressive first-time buyers who are really excited about sharing the roller coaster ride of the home buying experience.  It can be a stressful process, and we seek out people who represent an endless variety of personal stories and situations that our viewers can relate to,” HGTV exec Min Lee told us. The Beverly episode, airing sometime early next year features a man from Peabody, MA looking to move closer to his family.

If you want to share your home buying experience or home renovation work with millions of people across the United States, find out how at the HGTV website.
