If you’ve been Keeping up with the Kardashians, then you know that this past week’s episode features a portion of the clan making a trip to Boston for some appearances around town, and ended up featuring a number of spots around the city in the process.
Family matriarch Kris Jenner, along with her husband Bruce, and their daughter Khloe Kardashian Odom, made the six hour flight from California to Beantown in order to appear at the the Boston Cable Show, which was held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in mid May. Though Kim Kardashian was originally schedule to appear, a work conflict arose, and sister Khloe made the trip in her stead. The family stayed at the Boston Harbor Hotel, and the girls were seen lunching at the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille while Bruce Jenner attended an autograph signing session.
“Ever have clam chowder in Boston?” asked Kris to daughter Khloe. “That’s why they call it Boston clam chowder.”
Late that evening, the group went for a night out at Gypsy Bar, a nightclub downtown where Kim has made a few personal appearances in the past.
Several pickup shots of the downtown area of Boston were shown throughout the episode, including scenes of Copley Square and Back Bay and the Public Garden, though the weather appeared to be grey and rainy on the days the episode was shot.
On last week’s episode of “Kourtney and Kim Take New York”, the 2 elder Kardashian sisters went to Mystic, Connecticut to escape the paparazzi and spend some quality time together. Ditching their respective mates, much to the dismay of Kourtney’s on-again-off-again baby daddy, Scott Disick, the raven-haired siblings packed up baby Mason and took a tinted black Escalade to the Constitution state.
The trio arrived at the Whaler’s Inn, a place that Kim referred to as “the cutest little bed and breakfast” and unpacked their things just in time to grab dinner at S & P Oyster Company, where Kim ordered the black tiger shrimp, dressed in lemon and parmesan, with asparagus, on a bed of whole wheat linguini.
During their stay, Kourtney called Mystic “a peaceful, charming little town”, just the sort of place the girls were looking for to get away from the craziness of life in the NYC.
While the ladies were in town, they brought baby Mason to the Mystic Aquarium, where they fed a beluga whale, pet a penguin, and got to see a variety of sharks, seals, and fish in the viewing tanks, and even handle some other sea creatures in the facility’s touch tanks.
The ladies seemed to genuinely enjoy their brief stay in the Nutmeg state before returning to their hotel (and their men) in Manhattan.
No word yet on whether or not the state is considering changing the spelling to Konnektikut.
