One tequila. The muy caliente Chris Lambton will marry the guapa Peyton Wright this Saturday! “Wedding is in fact May 5^th,” Lambton tells HEC. “We are going to have a busy next few weeks but very exciting.” So let’s kick off Cinco De Mayo with a blessing for these two reality stars.

“I honestly thought Chris and I would have no problem agreeing on a wedding location,” Peyton writes. “Boy was I wrong! We went back and forth and discussed every possible idea. After much discussion, we narrowed it down to the beach.”

Two tequila. Not a New England beach either. The fiesta will be on the Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, South Carolina. However, Peyton will be wearing something old and something new from Priscilla of BOSTON!

“I made my last appointment to try on the very first gown from Priscilla of Boston again,” Peyton writes. “That one stayed on my mind from day one and after trying it on for the second time I knew immediately it was the one for me. SOLD!!”

Three tequila. We spiced it up with Lambton on the cushions of our couches on Season 6 of “The Bachelorette” and immediately fell for his New England roots. Lambton was crushed by Ali Fedotowsky’s decision but was brightened with a beautiful rainbow on the Island of Bora Bora. Unfortunately for fans, Lambton turned down the heat of  “The Bachelor” and instead warmed up with bachelorette finalist, Peyton Wright, off air. That’s hot!

Floor. First comes Bachelor fame, then the two pop stars engaged and now the two will be married while sharing ratings on “Going Yard” this May. “It was a no brainer to say yes to HGTV,” Lambton tells us.  So give this Cape Cod stud an inch and he’ll take over your yard. That’s right ladies. He’ll still come landscape your yard. “We are wrapping up Season 1 of our new show “Going Yard” on HGTV,” Lambton tells us. “Wedding, May 5th and the show premieres May 12th!!!!”

We first met Lambton, surprisingly on the springs of our couches on Season 6 of “The Bachelorette” and immediately fell for his New England roots as did native Ali Fedotowsky. Wonder if she picked the wrong guy? Ali and Roberto have split since Bachelor nation watched the landscaper get down on one knee while Ali gave her heart to Roberto. Lambton was crushed but was brightened with a beautiful rainbow on the Island of Bora Bora.

It was that day when Chris Lambton became not only a household name but a fan favorite. Unfortunately for fans, Lambton turned down another shot at love on “The Bachelor” and instead fell in love with a bachelorette finalist, the beautiful Peyton Wright, off air. That seems pretty real to us.

First comes ABC reality TV, then two reality pop stars engaged and now the two will be sharing ratings on “Going Yard” before they get hitched in September on a beach in South Carolina. Could this be the second wedding aired for “Bachelor” nation? It’s just a little more complicated since the two didn’t meet on the same show! We think better ratings.

“I am already a landscaper so I figured it would be no different with some cameras around,” Lambton tells us. This new series will follow Lambton and crew as they transform rundown backyards into polished and playful frames with patios, plants, and fire pits compliments of HGTV. “Best part I get to work with my brother, dad and fiancé…love it,” Lambton added. Wright will have say in design but will be more in charge of coordinating the families shindig when the scape is showcased.

Lambton certainly isn’t making out with EVERY girl like Ben Flajnix is on the bang out Season 16 of “The Bachelor” and that even includes New England native, Newton born Jaclyn an advertising account manager who is no longer in the running. Thank goodness, Ben ousted Jenna who hopefully has sought help. She’s a blogger who writes about relationships? Makes sense.

Instead of escorting the ladies on ABC, Lambton will be designing on his new HGTV show planting plenty of rose bushes of his own. Hopefully his tee-shirt won’t be making too many appearances. Go Chris!

It’s hard to pin point exactly when we started crushing on the very handsome Chris Lambton. But by the end of Season 6 of “The Bachelorette,” we were in love. Sure his New England roots and sexy arms were nice perks but it was Chris’s charm that tugged on the heart strings of girls from coast to coast.

It’s official though Chris Lambton is off the market.  First comes reality TV and then two reality pop stars engaged! Lambton proposed to the Southern bell Peyton Wright aka past Bachelor and Bachelor Pad contestant on Saturday June 18th at his picturesque Cape Cod home. And like a true gentlemen, Chris asked Peyton’s father for a blessing.

The news of the engagement is bittersweet for single ladies everywhere especially here in his home state digs.  With over 12,500 fans on FB, Lambton’s page is filled with well wishes since the news leaked. It’s refreshing that Lambton has “found the love of his life”. Now that’s reality.

“We are so incredibly happy,” he says. “She was worth the wait.”

Monday night on ABC, the 15th season of “The Bachelor” debuted, with 30 women vying for the attention of one man.

Of those 30 women, four of them are from New England.

Stacey is a 26 year old bartender from Quincy, Massachusetts. She lists Tuesdays with Morrie as her favorite book and Candace Bushnell as her favorite author, and says of her worst date memory, “I can make the best of any sitution, but once this guy updated his facebook status to say, ‘Boston women are recycled.’”

Melissa is a 32 year old waitress from Westport, Connecticut. She has no tattoos, and lists “going to a theme park to ride roller coasters” as her biggest date fear.

Jackie is a 27 year old artist from Warwick, Rhode Island. She counts her biggest achievement as her recent move to New York City “…with nothing, no job, a total city virgin, and finding my way — it proved to me I can do anything and am confident & independent. “

Ashley H. is a 26 year old dentist from Madawaska, Maine. Though she doesn’t speak any languages other than English, she can understand conversational French, and has one tattoo on her inner right wrist.

In the first episode, 38 year-old bachelor Brad Womack, who returns from a previous season of failed romance, eliminated 10 women right off the bat, none of which included our four New England girls. Time will tell if they have the right chemistry to make a love match with Brad the bachelor!

“The Bachelor” airs every Monday night at 8PM on ABC.

With the arrival of June, the summer filming season is in full swing, and as such, a number of casting calls are being held for a variety of TV shows and movies.

On June 6th, at the Langham Hotel in Boston, ABC’s hit reality show, “The Bachelor” will be holding casting calls from 1-5PM. Producers and casting directors from the show will be in attendance in search of single and available men and women who are looking for love and willing to bring their search to the TV screen. If you believe you possess the charisma needed to be their next star, or would like to nominate someone you know who does, visit their website to fill out an application in advance. The newest season of “The Bachelorette” just began on ABC on May 24th, featuring Ali Fedotowsky as the bachelorette, and a number of bachelors from around New England, including Tyler V. from Vermont, Chris L. from Massachusetts, and Jonathan the weatherman, who was born in Boston.

The New Hampshire Film Office official blog is also featuring a number of casting calls for projects that are coming up very soon, including a new independent film that will be shooting in the Nashua area. This feature will be filming this month, and they are looking for a variety of union and non-union actors to portray both background and featured players. It was only a few months ago when we watched Massachusetts native, Ali Fedotowsky, choose her job over love on the hit show, “The Bachelor”. Her decision certainly shocked viewers but we understood that her job was more STABLE then Jake Pavelka, considering he was in love with ALL the girls! When Ali regretted her decision and asked for a second chance, Jake shot her down! We all know the ending to that season, VIENNA?! But tonight, the beautiful Miss Fedotowsky will get her second chance to find true love on the premiere of “The Bachelorette”.

Fedotowsky will be introduced to 25 eligible bachelors from all over. Among them are three eligible New Englanders. Let’s start with 33 year old Chris from Cape Cod, a landscaper who admires his father, and internet rumors claim he is a wicked awesome math teacher. Chris has a few tats and at first glance, he might just be a contender. Moving on to 29 year old Jay from Barrington, RI, occupation lawyer. His ultimate date is skiing in Aspen, followed by a soak in the hot springs, and finally, a romantic dinner by a roaring fire. Yup, we just might see Jay at the final rose ceremony.

And finally the third newest New England reality star to hit the waves is 30 year old Jonathan, whose hometown is Beantown, but resides in Houston, TX. Jonathan knows a few things about being on television but no green screen will help his chances to win over Ali’s heart.  Admitting to trying to impress his date, Jonathan could write her a song and sing it to her, which MIGHT or might not be a deal breaker.

Either way, what are the chances Ali falls in love with a fellow New Englander? We’ll just have to wait and see. As a sneak peak to tonight’s premiere, Fedotowsky confessed that she is shocked at how many wonderful guys are here competing for her love. With the romantic settings provided, Ali’s chances for finding love are looking good!

With the consistent popularity of reality shows, it’s not a surprise that there would be no shortage of New Englanders on board with this long-term trend.  Brand new programs are airing all the time, many of which take on fresh and original subjects that never fail to entertain.

A production company called Pink Sneakers Productions is starting a reality show entitled “Thicker than Water,” and is now open to applications from a select group.  According to their website, they are looking for a “dynamic, tight-knit group of successful siblings” in the Boston area – all of whom are 21-years-old or over.  The ideal cast would be full of personality, with weekends crammed with family functions, get-togethers and big social events.

Pink Sneakers Productions has had a vision since it was founded in 2001 – to make creative and high-quality shows on unique topics.  They are a passionate group of enthusiastic producers that believe in telling their stories from the point of view of the characters.  As a company known for being a “go-to team,” they are not new to producing top-rated programs such as “Hogan Knows Best” and “True Life.”
